Time-based object, 60-min timer, 3D-printed statues, Acrylic
This work narrates the story of a dog that follows me for 60 minutes. In the exhibition space, five 3D-printed sculptures are paired with timers, each independently measuring one hour. The timers, starting at different moments, move imperceptibly and conclude with an alarm, producing rhythms. Within this unfolding time, I face the dog. I wait, and it follows. Together we walk, eat, and live through repeated gestures of daily life. For viewers, the installation reveals subtle variations within repetition, asking whether yesterday mirrors today, and whether tomorrow will resemble the life we live now.
